WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools would like to welcome the community to attend the Wilmington High School Time Capsule Opening and 9/11 Memorial Dedication Ceremony on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
This event will take place in the Auditorium of Wilmington High School, 159 Church Street, Wilmington.
At this event, we will open the time capsule that was laid in the cornerstone of Wilmington High School back in 1950 and reveal its contents to the public.
The ceremony will also include the dedication of the new student-designed 9/11 Memorial that commemorates the tragic events that took place in our country on September 11, 2001.
A reception including light refreshments will follow in the Library Media Center so that the public can view the new 9/11 Memorial.
