Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Monday, August 31, 2015.
#1) Woburn Street Elementary School, Shawsheen Elementary School, and North Intermediate are holding classroom visits for students and parents from 5pm to 6pm. The West Intermediate School is holding classroom visits from 4pm to 5pm.
#2) State Rep. Jim Miceli is holding Office Hours the Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) from 9:30am to 11am and at Wilmington Town Hall (121 Glen Road) from 6:30pm to 8pm. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Northeast Gas Pipeline Coalition, of which Wilmington is a member, meets at 10am at Townsend Town Hall (272 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is running its usual Monday activities — Blood Pressure Clinic at 9:30am; Exercise Sessions at 9:45am and 11am; and Knitting/Crocheting at 11am. Learn more HERE. The Center is also screening the film — “The Imitation Game” — at 1pm.
#5) U.S. Representative Seth Moulton, whose district includes Wilmington, is holding a lottery for tickets to visit Washington, DC for the Pope’s speech to Congress. Today is the last day to enter. Learn more HERE.
