WILMINGTON, MA — Start ’em young! Want your child to learn how to skate? He or she can be taught by professional instructors from the U.S. Figure Skating Association, right here in town!
The Wilmington Figure Skating Club is holding an 8-week ‘learn-to-skate’ session on Friday afternoons, from September 11 to October 30, at Ristuccia Arena. Participants can choose between classes that begin at 4pm or 5:20pm. The entire session costs $120, with a $15 annual registration fee. Pay for your new session by September 4 and get 10% off!

The Club is also holding a Family Fun Skate on Sunday, August 30, from 4:30pm to 6pm, where in-person registration will take place.
According to club’s website, the Learn To Skate Program is “offered year-round for skaters of all ages and levels…. Each child progresses at their own individual availability and pace. Badges and certificates are earned each time a skater passes a level and our program is designed to encourage self-confidence through the sport of ice skating.”
