QUESTION OF THE DAY: Want To Be There When The Pope Addresses Congress? Here’s Your Chance!

WASHINGTON, DC — On Thursday September 24, 2015, His Holiness Pope Francis will become the first leader of the Holy See to address a joint meeting of Congress. This historic event will be among the most prominent stops for Pope Francis on his six-day tour of Washington, D.C., New York, and Philadelphia.

Seth is happy to announce that his office has been allocated a limited number of tickets to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, where Pope Francis’ speech will be broadcast on several large video screens. For residents of the Sixth District, this is a unique opportunity to be part of an historic event.

In order to make access to the screening as widely available as possible, Seth will hold a lottery to determine the distribution of tickets. Residents of the Sixth District who wish to enter should call fill out the form no later than August 31st. Winners will be notified after the drawing on September 1st. Please note winners will receive no more than four tickets each. Tickets are not for resale. Travel and accommodations will be at the winners’ expense.

For more information, please call our office at 202-225-8020.

(NOTE: The above press release is from Congressman Seth Moulton’s Office.)
