3rd Annual Sean Collier Cornhole Tournament Set For September 27

MIT Police and event organizer Detective Loren Montgomery recently announced that the third annual Sean Collier Cornhole Tournament will take place on Sunday, September 27, 11am to 6pm, at MIT’s Briggs Field (301 Vassar St., Cambridge).  The event is open to all.

Below is a message posted on the fundraiser’s Eventbrite page:

“Please join the MIT Police Department again as we honor and remember our fallen brother Officer Sean Collier killed in the line of duty on April 18, 2013 with a day of Cornhole with cash prizes, bouncy houses, food, raffles, game trucks, music, and more.  All of the money raised will go towards annually sponsoring a recruit at the Lowell Police Academy in Sean’s name.  Sean sponsored himself through the Transit Academy and we know he would love to give another the same opportunity.  There will be fun for the whole family!!!!  The past 2 tournaments have been a huge success and we hope to outdo ourselves again this year!”

Teams of two can enter for $30. General admission is only $5. Purchase your tickets — or make a donation — HERE.
