POLICE LOG for July 31: Resident Finds Needles In Shed; Neighborly Disputes

WILMINGTON, MA — 87 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Friday, July 31.  Here are FIVE highlights:

  • A Coolidge Road caller reported 5-6 of her plants were pulled out of the ground last night. She has been having issues with heir neighbors. She wanted the incident logged and requested extra patrols during the overnight hours. (9:54am)
  • A caller reported that he struck a basketball net hanging over the roadway on Cedarcrest Road. Police assisted with the paperwork. (11:08am)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported her neighbor was cutting her shrubbery. It’s been an ongoing issue. She requested to speak with an officer. (12:10pm)
  • A caller reported a gas attendant at Super Petroleum on Main Street appeared to be studying her ATM card before handing it back. She thought it to be strange. She had to ask twice for her card back. She contacted and her bank and cancelled the card. She wanted the incident logged. (2:36pm)
  • A Cedar Street homeowner found 8 needles in her shed. Police retrieved the needles for destruction. (6:36pm)
