POLICE LOG for August 1: Car vs. Gas Station; Rollover On South St.; Angry Ex-Employee

WILMINGTON, MA — 38 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, August 1.  Here are SEVEN highlights:

  • A former employee was causing a disturbance at the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. Ex-employee left the store has officers arrived.  Officers caught up with ex-employee, advising him to stay from the store for the night. Officers explained the no trespass order process to the current employees. (3:19am)
  • Report of a man standing on Main Street, fishing  from over the guard rail. Police advised the man to stop. (11:43am)
  • A minor motor vehicle crash occurred at Woburn Street and High Street between a blue 2004 VW Golf and a white 2006 Mercedes R350. No injuries reported. (1:56pm)
  • A black 2009 Toyota Camry rolled over on South Street. The Fire Department responded. The car was towed by Cains Towing. No injuries reported. (6:57pm)
  • A blue 2005 Toyota Camry struck the Sonny’s Mobile on the Run building. No injuries reported.  The manager was on scene. Construction company was en route to board up damage. The business remained open. (8:59pm)
  • A Heavenly Donuts employee requested extra patrols from 11:00pm to 4:00am. (10:21pm)
  • A Marcia Road resident reported he stepped out for a cigarette and heard what he believed to be either a party or a disturbance on a nearby street. Police investigated and found a graduation party happening on Pineridge. The music was turned down prior to the officer’s arrival. (10:39pm)
