POLICE LOG for July 27: 2 Residents Arrested; Truck Badly Keyed On Burlington Avenue

WILMINGTON, MA — 62 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, July 27.  Here are SEVEN highlights:

  • Belmont Avenue caller reported she woke to find the back door open and her 14 year-old daughter not in the house. Daughter came back inside while the mother was on the phone with 911. Police spoke with the daughter. Checked OK. (2:35am)
  • A blue 2002 Jeep Liberty and a black 2014 Chrysler SE 300 were involved in a minor motor vehicle crash in front of St. Dorothy’s on Main Street. No injuries reported. (10:16am)
  • Douglas Bevis (47, Wilmington) was arrested on warrants for suspended license and a failure to stop. (10:40am)
  • Kimberlee Ann Cianciulli (23, Wilmington) was arrested on warrants for forgery and larceny. (1:14pm)
  • Police spoke to a man operating a 4-wheel bobcat style ATV in the roadway on Burnap Street with children on it. He was advised of the law and agreed to remain on his own property. (4:28pm)
  • Owner of Heavenly Donuts on Main Street requested extra patrols from 8:30pm today to 4:30am tomorrow. (7:51pm)
  • Caller reported his friend’s black 2004 Dodge Ram was scratched several times on Burlington Avenue. Police noted the whole truck was keyed. The damage was malicious and over $250. (9:20pm)
