WILMINGTON, MA — 44 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, July 25. Here are SIX highlights:
- Kim Donovan (43, Reading) was arrested for an OUI (alcohol) and speeding. (1:00am)
- A caller reported a car had peeled out of a new driveway at a new housing development on McGrane Road, causing damage. Caller wanted the incident logged. (12:15pm)
- A Horseshoe Lane resident received a voicemail from a caller stating the resident’s son stole the caller’s son’s bike. The resident also found a note left on the front door of her complex by the caller. The problem is — the resident does not have a son and believes it’s a case of mistaken identity. Police left a message with the caller, advising her to contact the Department. (12:25pm)
- A Crescent Street caller reported someone struck her parked black 2010 Nissan Rogue in her driveway. She believes she may know her did it and will attempt to exchange paperwork with that person. (6:31pm)
- A Forest Street woman reported she believed someone was shining a flashlight into her bedroom window. Police investigated and found that a small sensor light had been installed in the backyard and likely was set off by an animal. (9:40pm)
- Police conducted “checks” of the Wildwood Cemetery during the morning, afternoon and night.
