5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (July 31, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, July 31, 2015.

#1) Today is the last day to nominate a Wilmington Public Schools employee for We’re One Wilmington’s “School Staff Community Service Recognition Award.” Learn more HERE.

#2) Today is the last day to submit a photo of Wilmington to Congressman Seth Moulton’s 6th District Photo Contest. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running a Superhero Training Academy at 10am. Find out your superhero name and discover your secret super powers. Then take this week’s superhero skills challenge, play Kryptonite Hot Potato, and create your own superhero cuffs. Kindergarten and up. Register HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding most of its normal Friday summer activities — Video Exercise at 10am; Special Exercise at 11am; Cards at 1pm; and Bingo at 1pm. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Tour the museum for a glimpse into the town’s past – experience the house and Wilmington’s history!  The Museum is also having games and encouraging residents to bring a brown bag lunch from noon to 2pm. Learn more HERE.

ALSO: Town Beach at Silver Lake is open today — and everyday until Sunday, August 17 — from 10am to 8pm. Learn more HERE.
