WILMINGTON, MA — 78 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, July 21. Here are TEN highlights:
- An unlocked gray 2012 Honda Accord was entered during the night on Fairmont Avenue. A GPS and other items were taken. Theft possibly occurred around 4am. A neighbor noted a small gray vehicle was seen in the area that time. (7:07am)
- An Appletree Lane resident reported their prescription medication was missing. (11:13am)
- Police arrested Brittany Riston (25, Malden) on various warrants, including 3 counts of forgery, larceny of a motor vehicle, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. (12:40pm)
- Police arrested Michael Maga (21, Wilmington) on a warrant for receiving stolen property. (1:12pm)
- A Main Street caller reported that sometime within the last week, a power washer was stolen from her shed. (2:45pm)
- GPS’s were reported stolen out of two unlocked cars on Molloy Road. (2:53pm)
- A Denault Drive resident walked in to report her unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight and a GPS was taken. (3:55pm)
- A Woburn Street caller reported at around 2:30pm today, a solicitor from a pest control company knocked on their door. The caller’s daughter was at home at the time and did not answer the door. The solicitor then walked around to the rear yard without permission. Caller wanted the incident logged. (3:58pm)
- A Shawsheen Avenue resident reported their mailbox was knocked over sometime after 12pm today. (4:09pm)
- MBTA called to report a woman sleeping besides the train tracks in the area between Dunkin Donuts and the footbridge on Main Street. Police advised the woman and sent her on her way. (5:48pm)
