WILMINGTON, MA — 62 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, July 20. Here are SIX highlights:
- A caller stated his wife called him and said that there was a man looking through the trash at their Miller Road residence and it made her nervous. Caller requested that an officer responded to check the area — unable to locate anyone. (5:49am)
- A Horseshoe Lane caller reported that in the past 90 minutes, his and his neighbor’s mountain bikers were stolen. Suspect is a black male, 14-15 years old, that likely lives in the area. (2:22pm)
- A Hopkins Street resident reported a scam IRS telephone call. Caller did not provide any information to the scammer and wanted the incident logged. (4:30pm)
- A caller reported something was smoking in the middle of the roadway at Salem Street and Woburn Street. Police noted that the item, possibly a t-shirt, had been on fire but had burned itself out. (6:01pm)
- A brown 2006 Chevy Malibu and a white 2011 Chevy Malibu were involved in a motor vehicle crash at Lowell Street and the I93 Northbound Ramp. Minor injuries reported, with at least one individual transported to Winchester. (6:42pm)
- A Moving Express truck took down Comcast wires n Winchell Road. (7:34pm)
