WILMINGTON, MA — 48 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, July 18. Here are NINE highlights:
- A driver found a pocketbook and wallet on the side of the road near Heffron Materials on Salem Street. Police made contact with the owner’s parents, who were advised they can pick it up at the station.(6:12am)
- Quinel J. Eutsay (31, Brockton) was arrested on a probation warrant. (6:51am)
- Police issued summons for Stephen M. Slack (34, North Reading) for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment, and no inspection sticker. (4:37pm)
- A man was observed drinking from a beer can while sitting in the driver’s seat of an older black Infinity in the Lucci’s Supermarket Plaza parking lot. Man admitted to drinking one beer. Police placed the rest of the beer in the back of vehicle. Man was issued a citation for an open container. (5:02pm)
- A fox was reported “yelping” on the roadway of Naples Road. Police believed the fox did not appear injured. It ran off when a spotlight was flashed on it. (9:46pm)
- A St. Paul Street caller reported she is receiving harassing phone calls and the harassing caller just had pizza delivered to her house. (9:46pm)
- Police noticed someone damaged trees in parking lot near Textron Street tennis courts on Lowell Street, causing the sidewalk to be obstructed. (10:14pm)
- A Cedar Street resident reported tire marks across their front lawn, plus their garden was ripped up. Police confirmed the extensive damage. (10:30pm)
- Police was flagged down by a resident reporting a man was staggering down Boutwell Street with a bottle of alcohol. Police made contact and drove the man home. (10:55pm)
