POLICE LOG for July 17: Car Stolen on Kenwood Avenue; Theft In MBTA Parking Lot

WILMINGTON, MA — 69 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Friday, July 17.  Here are SIX highlights:

  • An individual reported a gray 2008 Mercedes-Benz was stolen from a residence at Kenwood Avenue. Vehicle was recovered in Andover after being crashed into a pole. (3:17am)
  • An Oxford Road caller reported a man in a red Ford F150 was in the neighborhood soliciting driveway seal coating. (4:08pm)
  • A caller reported an ATV riding wheelies down Butters Row. Caller reported it’s been an ongoing issue and requested extra patrols during the afternoon rush hour. (4:37pm)
  • A barking dog complaint was made against a Columbia Street homeowner. Owner says dog is a 9 year-old rescue dog with behavioral issues. She’s working on correcting the behavior. (4:43pm)
  • At least two vehicles were entered in the MBTA Train Station lot while parked there. Items were missing from one of them. (10:05pm)
  • A caller reported hearing a series of either gunshots or fireworks coming from the wooded area between Walunt Street and Wall Street. Caller also stated he heard loud voices and possible music. Police were not able to locate anyone. (10:36pm)
