WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington’s Lots of Love Cat Rescue is holding a Paint Afternoon at Bertucci’s (45 Walkers Brook Drive, Reading) on Sunday, August 16, 3pm to 6pm. Tickets cost $45 (which includes the lesson and all supplies) and can be purchased HERE. Join the Facebook event HERE. Participants are also encouraged to bring a donation of cat food for the St. Joseph’s Feral Cat Colony.

Lots of Love Cat Rescue, according to its website, was founded on the strongly held belief that “no animal should have to go hungry, be homeless or live in fear or pain.” The organization, which does not receive any funding from government agencies or national animal welfare agencies, is run and supported by volunteers, with a shared mission to “rescue, provide sanctuary, and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected cats.” Learn more about the organization HERE.
