5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (July 23, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, July 23, 2015.

#1) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting two FANTASTIC free events!  At 3pm, come see the the Wilmington Police K-9 Team! Officer Palmer will introduce police dog Ridic, show the equipment used — including Ridic’s customized cruiser, and demonstrate how Ridic conducts searches. At 7pm, Dan Rea – Special Assistant to the President/CEO of the Boston Red Sox — will discuss the history of Fenway Park and his book, “Fenway Park: 100 Years.”  Learn more and register HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Tour the museum for a glimpse into the town’s past – experience the house and Wilmington’s history!  Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday summer activities — Walking Group (9am), Bocce (9:30am), Aerobics (10am), and Game Day (1pm). Outdoor Yoga (6pm) has been cancelled for the week. Learn more HERE.

#4) Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) is offering live music with Sean Denehy at 8pm. Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is offering live music with The Bucket of Blues at 8pm.

#5) The Children’s Theatre Workshop will be holding a performance of Beauty and the Beast at 7pm at Wilmington Middle School (25 Carter Lane). Tickets are $5 each. Learn more HERE.
