WILMINGTON, MA — On Sunday, August 2, from 3pm to 4pm, a free YogArt Class for children (ages 9 to 12) will be offered at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street).
YogArt is a fun-filled class designed to tap into your child’s creativity on and off the mat. Simple crafts are completed and poses are introduced while linking them through vinyasa.
YogArt helps children in a variety of ways, including teaching them how to: maintain flexibility, enhance concentration, increase self-awareness and self-esteem, cultivate peacefulness, remain present and focused, use breathing techniques to manage stress, and more!
Participating children should bring a yoga mat (or beach towel) and water bottle. While the class is free, donations to the Wilmington Food Pantry are also greatly appreciated.
