WILMINGTON, MA — 34 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, July 11. Here are FIVE highlights:
- A caller reported a road rage incident. A 50 year-old bald white male driving a Wilmington Builders truck was tailgating and screaming at him. Police contacted the company’s owner, who will speak with the driver and correct the situation. (10:32am)
- A manager at the Salvation Army reported he was shoved by a customer. (10:48am)
- An 18 year-old man was threatening to kill himself. Wilmington Fire Department transported him to Winchester Hospital. (5:25pm)
- Police received numerous calls reporting hearing a young woman yelling for help on Woburn Street. No further details other than the victim was transported by the Wilmington Fire Department to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. (6:15pm)
- Alicia Ramos (33, Wilmington) was arrested for child endangerment while OUI; OUI (liquor); OUI (drugs); leaving scene of property damage; negligent operation of motor vehicle; marked lanes violations; and failure to drive in the right line. Ramos’s black 2012 Dodge Avenger had struck a hydrant at 17 Boutwell Street and nearly struck (at least) one vehicle. Mr. Ramos took custody of the children who had been in the car. (6:42pm)
