POLICE LOG for July 2: Suspicious Man Approaches Young Boy; 3 Arrests; Kids Behaving Badly

WILMINGTON, MA — 75 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Thursday, July 2.  Here are EIGHT highlights:

  • The Seneca Lane street sign at Seneca Lane and Tacoma Street was found pulled out and laying on the ground. DPW was notified. (5:48am)
  • A caller reported that within the last hour, two boys on bikes (ages 10-12) approached his wife walking down Aldrich Road and made vulgar comments to her. He wanted the incident logged. (10:12am)
  • Brian Gorman (27, Malden) was arrested on a warrant. (11:38am)
  • Caller reported two youths were causing a disturbance at Town Beach. Kids, who were using vulgar language, left with their aunt. (3:04pm)
  • Dennis Cleary (32, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (3:48pm)
  • A Sandy Lane caller reported her 12 year-old son was approached by a white male with gray hair and a gray beard in a light blue 4-door sedan, asking him to help find his dog. Vehicle was last seen on Mink Run, heading towards Hopkins Street. (4:25pm)
  • Police contacted DPW after a duckling fell into a drain on Lowell Street. (5:21pm)
  • Connor J. Arsenault (23, Billerica) was arrested for an OUI (liquor).  A small amount of Class D and paraphernalia was confiscated as well. Aresanult was also involved in a road rage incident on Main Street. (9:57pm)
