Irma Olga (Fusco) Gionfriddo, age 89, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 7, 2015.
Irma was the beloved wife of the late Michael H. Gionfriddo, devoted mother of Michael and Susan of Milton, Lucille and George of Foley, AL, Janet of Wilmington, Michelle and Chet of Lynn, Nanette and Dave of Lincolnville, ME, and Louis and Jane of Salem, NH. Also devoted to Linda and Patrick of Sanford, ME and Liz and the late Joanne of FL. Much loved grandmother of Alexandria and Brian, Alterra and Luigi, Michael Henry, Bernadette, Gabrielle and John, Rachael, Francesca, James and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Miranda, Abigail, Noah, Amelia, Andrew, Sabrina and Violet. Cherished daughter of the late Louis and Frances (Cirillo) Fusco, dear sister of Marie Hanley of Medford and the late Louis Fusco, Lucy Peters, Alfred Fusco, Helen Fusco and Ernie Fusco. Irma is also survived by many much loved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Irma’s life on her 90th birthday at her home, 604 Woburn Street, Wilmington, on Saturday, August 8th from 12:00-8:00 p.m.
