POLICE LOG for June 29: Baby Ducklings Stuck In Yard; Couple Trespassed From Cumberland Farms

WILMINGTON, MA — 46 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, June 29.  Here are SIX highlights:

  • An employee at the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue reported finding a hypodermic needle outside the building. Police retrieved the needle for proper disposal. (7:00am)
  • A Middlesex Avenue caller reported 8 or 9 baby ducklings stuck in her backyard. (9:09am)
  • An employee at Cumberland Farms on Main Street called to requested an officer regarding a couple that continuously come into the store and take items without paying for them. Employee passed the couple’s license plate number to the police. The police pulled the couple over and advised them not to return to the store or they were subject to arrest. Police provided information to the store’s manager so trespass orders could be sent. (11:11am)
  • A gray 2013 Subaru Impreza and a gray 2000 Nissan Sentra were involved in a motor vehicle crash on Lowell Street. No injuries reported. (7:50pm)
  • K9 Ridic has training at the Department of Public Works Headquarters on Andover Street. (8:19pm)
  • David M. Vital (25, Woburn) was arrested on warrants at Eastgate Liquors on Lowell Street. (11:00pm)
