WILMINGTON, MA — The 2015 “Sounds of Summer” Concert series begins on the Wilmington Town Common on Wednesday, July 8, 6:30pm-8pm, with a toe-tapping country music performance by The Don Campbell Trio.
A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Don’s fresh but familiar voice has taken him from his hometown of Scarborough, Maine to his second home in Nashville, Tennessee — and just about everywhere in between. With world-class vocals and boy-next-door charm, Don has opened for country music legends Randy Travis, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, and American Idol Carrie Underwood. Audiences of all ages will be entertained by a charismatic blend of adult contemporary, country and rock music.
Bring dinner, chairs or a blanket, and relax on the Town Common to the sweet sounds of summer. We will see you there.
This concert is sponsored by the Reading Cooperative Bank. (Rain date is Thursday, July 9.)
