Last Thursday, the Wilmington Senior Center launched its ‘Splash Into A Happy Summer’ series of fun programs for seniors with a the Delvena Theatre’s production of “Merman, Minnie, Mae & Me.” The play, inspired by Ethel Merman, Minnie Pearl and Mae West, was held outdoors on the Swain Green, across from the Town Common.
The “Frozen Hoagies” food truck was on site, selling delicious homemade ice cream sandwiches and other treats.
