POLICE LOG for June 16: Sink Hole At Wilmington Public Safety Building

WILMINGTON, MA — 41 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, June 16. Here are SIX highlights:

  • Police issued 5 written warnings or citations for speeding on Eames Street. (8:18am-9:45am)
  • Summons issued to Victor Teixeira (19, Peabody) for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (12:52pm)
  • A sink hole was reported in front of the Fire Department’s Apparatus Bays on the Church Street-side of the Public Safety Building. DPW was notified. (2:54pm)
  • A caller reported suspicious activity with 2 men came out of the woods on Boutwell Street when one of them started to throw up.  Both continued walking towards Aldrich Road. (3:56pm)
  • A 17-year-old was arrested for malicious destruction of property valued at over $250. (7:28pm)
  • A Jones Avenue caller reported a suspicious man was in the neighborhood.  Police transported the man back to Tewksbury and confiscated a small amount of a Class D drug. (7:31pm)
