POLICE LOG for June 9: 3 Callers Report A Coyote Sighting On Middlesex Ave

WILMINGTON, MA — 45 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, June 9. Here are SEVEN highlights:

  • A Boutwell Street caller reported that his neighbor advised him of a suspicious blue pickup truck that had parked in his driveway last Friday. The truck was occupied by two men.  Caller was told they walked up to his desk and and were looking at a 4-wheeler and tractor.  Caller requested extra patrols. (10:11am)
  • Liquid leaking from a truck was reported.  Truck was pulled overo n Main Street.  Fire Department determined it was magnesium hydroxide.  Mass Highway was contacted.  The State Police Truck Team and New England Disposal Technologies responded.  DPW was notified that a spill also took place on Church Street. (11:15am)
  • A Chestnut Street resident requested a call from the Animal Control Officer regarding horses that are getting loose.  The horses have damaged his lawn. (12:25pm)
  • A package of car parts was scheduled for delivery to a Federal Street home.  USPS tracked the package, stating it was delivered on May 28.  Home owner said it never arrived. (12:28pm)
  • A red 2011 Toyota Camry hit a pole on Burlington Avenue. No injuries reported.  RMLD was notified. (5:09pm)
  • A 4-car motor vehicle crash occurred on Middlesex Avenue.  No injuries reported. (5:43pm)
  • 3 callers reported a coyote walking down Church Street in the area of the Methodist Church. Coyote was gone when police arrived. (6:22pm)
