Protecting Your Nest Egg

Attorneys Raymond Cannon and Bridget Murray will talk about how to preserve your assets during your lifetime: liability protection, the new Homestead Law, asset transfers, long term care insurance, and Medicaid planning. They will also address how you can protect your assets after you die: probate avoidance, estate tax minimization or elimination.

Book Brunch
Saturday, June 27, 10:30am

Join us as we kickoff the adult summer reading program with our annual book brunch. Participants will enjoy a delicious breakfast, talk with others about favorite books and get recommendations for summer reading. Library staff will talk about the summer reading raffle and reader extraordinaire, Eileen MacDougall, will do a little book talkin’ as well.

Adult Summer Reading Raffle:
To participate in the adult summer reading raffle all you need to do is read a book and then enter (either online or in paper form at the library).  You may enter the raffle for each book read so the more you read the more entries you have and the greater the chances are that you will win one of the weekly raffles.  Plan to read this summer!

Sign up For Summer Reading
“Every Hero has a Story” is the 2015 summer reading theme at your library! Kids of all ages can sign up at www.wilmlibrary.org or at the library. Design your own superhero badge to hang in the library. Earn a sticker to display on it for each your you read. Fun and prizes all summer long!

Mike has garnered multiple awards over his 20 year career for his exciting blend of humor and magic! Tween and Teen Summer Reading Kickoff Event: Henna Tattoos *RR

Register for the Teen Summer Reading Program and get a free henna tattoo! *Henna is a natural reddish brown plant dye that is used to draw intricate designs on skin; these tattoos last 1-3 weeks.  Grades 4+

Drop in for a program of rhymes, songs and books, followed by an opportunity for babies to play with age-appropriate toys.   Ages birth-24 months.

Big Wheels
Friday, June 26, 10 am-12 pm

Check out fire engines, construction vehicles, police cars and more! Climb inside, and ask their operators questions.  Thanks to the Town of Wilmington’s Departments of Public Works, Fire and Police for making this event possible.  All ages.
