POLICE LOG for June 4, 2015: Poodle Causes Headaches On Main Street, Fence Dispute

WILMINGTON, MA — 36 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log last Thursday, June 4. Here are SIX highlights:

  • A Williams Avenue caller reported a loose black poodle keeps running onto Main Street.  The Animal Control Officer retrieved the dog and brought it to the Andover Animal Hospital.  The Officer then contacted the owned. (11:40am)
  • A motorcyclist was reported down at Richmond Street and Main Street.  By the time police arrived, scene was clear.  Witness said bike had tipped, but driver had recovered and since drove away. (1:04pm)
  • A Glen Road resident complained that the fence his neighbor is putting up is making it difficult for him to see coming out of his driveway and is creating a hazard. (2:50pm)
  • K-9 Ridic conducted a drug search in Somerville. (4:29pm)
  • Rodney P. Taylor (32, Wilmington) was arrested for misleading a police officer. (7:08pm)
  • A resident reported a needle by the side of the road on Swain Road.  Police retrieved the needle and returned it to the station for disposal. (7:41pm)
