Sara Serreze, a Wilmington High School Art Teacher, and Susan Pelletier, an artist and teacher at the Wildwood, are running an Elementary Art Camp this summer at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street). The camp, intended for students entering Grades 1-6, will run from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, from 9:30am to 2:30pm Monday through Thursday and 9:30am to 12:30pm on Friday.
Registration costs $250 ($200 + $50 for materials) and includes a sketchbook, a t-shirt, field trip costs and art supplies to use during camp. Campers will take a field trip to the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, which will include an interactive tour, a picnic lunch and outdoor sketching. The camp is limited to 15 students.
