Congratulations to the Wilmington Boy Scouts who recently earned their Ad Altare Dei Emblems, signifying personal and spiritual growth and actively living according to their Catholic faith. (Learn more about the emblem program HERE.)
The boys received their medals at a special Scouts Mass at the Holy Cross Cathedral on Sunday, May 17. They were recognized again at a St. Thomas service on Sunday, May 24.
Congratulations to scouts Michael Bettencourt, Christian Bolanos, Alex Boehe, Colin Harvey, Joseph Lydon, Joseph Maselli, and William Mance. Their instructors were Darrin Boehm, Amy Bettencourt and Frank West.
Congratulations, as well, to Cub Scouts Nicholas Morad and Jonathan Morad for earning their Light of Christ religious medals at the same ceremony.
