George C. West, age 88, formerly of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 26, 2015.
George was born in Waltham, MA, on March 4, 1927; he was the beloved son of the late Thomas B. and Carolyn (Bergmann) West. George was the devoted father of Lynette Raymond and her husband George of Princeton and Donna Conlon and her husband Patrick of Wakefield. Loving “Grampy” of Lauren, Timothy and Sarah Raymond and Carolyn, Marybeth and Alan Conlon. George is also survived by his former wife and dear friend Marilyn West of Wilmington.
George was retired from Teamsters Local #25 and a life time member of the NRA.
Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Sunday, May 31st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be private.
