TEWKSBURY, MA — On Memorial Day, May 25, 2015, the Tewksbury Country Club will be sponsoring a 5K Fun Run/Walk. The event will benefit Strongwater Farm, a Therapeutic Equestrian Center whose focus is to support veterans suffering from PTSD and the emotional and social well-being of people with disabilities. In addition, the event’s proceeds will help defray maintenance costs of Tewksbury’s 9/11 Memorial, which has been selected as one of the top memorials in the world. The event is run along the beautiful scenery of the golf course, and through the local neighborhood. Refreshments for all participants will follow the race.
