Honor Your Favorite School Employees With Wilmington Ed Foundation’s “TOP CAT” Program

WILMINGTON, MA — As the school year draws to a close, the Wilmington Educational Foundation is once again offering its “TOP CAT” program. With this program, Wilmington families can honor their favorite Wilmington School System employee – special lunch lady, crossing guard, teacher’s assistant, teacher, administrative assistant, administrator – as a “TOP CAT” with a donation of any amount to the Wilmington Educational Foundation. The “TOP CAT” program is also a means of honoring school system retirees. The honored individual will receive a “TOP CAT” award, which is a certificate suitable for framing that can be displayed as a reminder of the impact the recipient has made in the school life of your student. You can also put a personalized message on the award for the “TOP CAT”. These tax-deductible donations provide some of the resources for WEF to fund innovative educational opportunities that are not able to be funded by the school system’s budget.

The WEF “TOP CAT” program is one of the many significant fundraisers that WEF sponsors each year, and all funds raised are used to directly benefit the students of our town. To see more of what WEF has been able to provide for your schools, please visit our website.

As the school year wraps up, when thinking about offering a gift of thanks to someone special within the Wilmington School System, please consider a donation to the Wilmington Educational Foundation so you can also make a lasting impact to the quality of our children’s educational experiences. Included is the form used to make a contribution. In order to assure that the “TOP CAT” receives his or her award prior to the end of school, please return the form and donation to the address shown on the form no later than Friday, June 5th. If you have any questions about the WEF “TOP CAT” program or the Wilmington Educational Foundation, please contact us at wilmingtonedfoundation@gmail.com.
