SAUGUS, MA — As first reported by Kimberly Bookman of WHDH Channel 7 News, a 62 year-old Wilmington man was killed this afternoon when the dump trunk he was driving rolled over on Route 1 (Southbound) in Saugus at the Lynn Fells Parkway.
The victim’s identity, and details of the crash, have not been publicly reported by news outlets yet.
According to the Massachusetts State Police’s Twitter feed, the crash occurred around 2:30pm. All southbound lanes near the accident site were shut down. After investigation and collision reconstruction, all lanes were re-opened by 5pm.
