WILMINGTON, MA — Ann St. Onge was named the 2015 “Wilmington Good Guy” at last night’s 47th Annual Dinner & Ceremony.
The “Good Guy” Award is given annually to an outstanding citizen — male or female — who lives in Wilmington and gives of themselves to make the community a better place in which to live.
Ann serves on the Outreach Committee of the Wilmington United Methodist Church. She coordinates the church’s efforts at the Dwelling Place, a soup kitchen in Woburn. Ann also volunteers with the Mission of Deeds in Reading. Ann is very active at the Wilmington Memorial Library, coordinating the library’s homebound delivery program, serving on the Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Executive Board, and – for years – providing refreshments and coffee at library events. Ann is also a member of the Town’s Carter Lecture Fund Committee, which organizes an interesting and entertaining program for Wilmington residents each year. In addition, Ann serves as Treasurer for Wilmington Family Counseling. And this long list of active community service likely only scratches the surface of decades of volunteerism in Wilmington. Congratulations to Ann!
