PHOTO OF THE DAY: Patriotic Performance At Woburn Street School (with ADORABLE recordings)

The Woburn Street School held its annual Patriotic Performance for third graders yesterday in the school’s cafeteria.  Ms. Bartley, Ms. Jablonsky, Mr. McInerney, Mr. MacDonald and Mrs. Martin’s classes performed at 9:30am.  Ms. Morande, Mrs. Owen and Ms. Sheehan’s classes performed at 1:15pm.  The concert was organized under the direction of Ms. Conquest (Art), Mrs. Danahy (Library), Mrs. Knoettner (Music), Mr. Maxson (Health) and Mrs. Stinson (Physical Education).

In addition to music and recorders, the students displayed patriotic self portrait paintings.  Each painting had a QR code in the bottom left corner.  When scanned, the code would bring the viewer to a website with recordings of every student in each class explaining what patriotism means to them.  The recordings are below and they’re adorable.
