WILMINGTON, MA — Cleaning out your closet? Please consider donating those items to the upcoming Bag2School drive organized by the Boutwell and Shawsheen/West PAC. On Saturday, May 9, from 10am to 2pm, bring your unwanted clothes, shoes, bedding, drapes, purses and stuffed animals IN BAGS to the lower lot of the Wilmington Memorial Library. Items must be in “reasonable condition.”
According to the Bag2School website: “Students, staff and parents work together to contribute previously enjoyed clothing and textiles that are then weighed and exchanged for cash at the current market rate. The items will be shipped overseas and sold as quality used clothing, boosting affordable clothing markets in developing countries.”
