POLICE LOG for 4/15: Car Crash on Main Street, Egged Car, Annoying Phone Calls

WILMINGTON, MA — 54 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log last Wednesday, April 15.

Here are EIGHT highlights:

  • A caller from Marion Street reports her car was egged sometime during the night. (8am)
  • A caller from Cottage Street reports she’s receiving annoying calls for a party claiming she won the lottery. (8:23am)
  • A caller on New Hampshire Road reports there’s a dark colored 4-door vehicle circling the neighborhood with a passenger videotaping. Vehicle is gone when police arrived. (9:08am)
  • Police issues a citation for speed and marked lane violation for a GMC Sierra while on Shawsheen Avenue. Police find a large amount of Class D, $120, and a folding knife, all of which are confiscated.  (2:13pm)
  • Motor vehicle crash occurs at Richmond Street and Main Street between a 2013 Honda Accord and 2000 Pontiac Grand AM. Both cars towed.  One driver cited for failure to yield when making a left turn. (4:11pm)
  • A caller on Beech Street reports several dirt bikes are riding on the street. Dirt bikes are put away before police arrives. (4:20pm)
  • A vehicle hits a deer on Chestnut Street. Vehicle receives minor damage and the deer ran into the woods. (7:04pm)
  • Kevin MacDonald was asked to withdraw from the meeting at the Middle School regarding the Yentile Farm project. (8:35pm)
