WILMINGTON, MA — 58 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Sunday, April 12.
Here are four highlights:
- A caller on Burnap Street complains that people are out in the Town Beach parking lot being loud and “partying.” Police responds and finds no issue. One vehicle is dead and folks are attempting to jumpstart it. (12:15am)
- Police notices a car pulling into St. Thomas’s parking lot. Deeming the activity suspicious — it’s 2:25 in the morning — police investigate. It turns out the driver pulls in the lot to play a game on their phone.
- A vehicle hits a deer in the vicinity of Ashwood Avenue on Andover Street. Vehicle stops briefly and then continues on. Caller is unsure of the deer’s condition. Police find the deer and determine it needs to be euthanized. Deer is euthanized and removed. (9:54pm)
- The Medford Police Department requests a well-being check. They receive a call about a car traveling on 93 North toward Wilmington with the word “help” written on the rear of the vehicle. Car belongs to a Wilmington resident. Wilmington Police check the car owner’s residency and is unable to locate anyone. (10:21pm)
