WILMINGTON, MA — Last night, approximately 50 residents attended a public presentation from the Yentile Farm Development Committee in the Middle School Auditorium. The project team debuted 3D renderings of the proposed recreational facility at 9 Cross Street. Residents will determine at the Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, May 2 whether to fund construction of the project. With an original price tag of $6 million, the committee has been able to reduce costs to $4.5 million. The committee is hoping to further offset the impact to taxpayers by attempting to raise $1 million through a robust fundraising effort. (Look for a recap on Wilmington Apple on Friday or Saturday.) I wanted to share these photos as soon as possible however.
