POLICE LOG FOR 4/9: Think Twice Before Flicking A Cigarette Out Your Car Window

WILMINGTON, MA — 25 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log last Thursday, April 9.

Here are four highlights:

  • A caller requested a well-being check on his brother.  While Skyping together, the caller heard yelling and a possible physical altercation. The caller hadn’t been able to contact his brother since.  The police were able to make contact with the brother, who will call his concerned brother back. (1:16am)
  • A syringe was found in the area of Burnap Street. (8:38am).  Another syringe was later found on Boutwell Street. (10:31am)
  • Police spoke with the drivers of two vehicles that were pulled off the road on Main Street.  It turned out the drivers were interested in purchasing 831 Main Street and were just waiting for the realtor. (9am)
  • Police checked in on a parked 2012 Nissan Altima on the I-93 North on ramp at Exit 40.  It turned out the driver threw his cigarette out of the window, but it wound up landing in his backseat. No damage reported.  Driver was eventually sent on his way.
