POLICE LOG for 4/3: Hit & Run at Greg’s Roast Beef, Kids Playing Dangerously On Frozen Silver Lake

WILMINGTON, MA — 60 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log last Friday, April 3.

Here are five highlights:

  • An employee of Greg’s Roast Beef on Main Street reported a hit and run involving his car in the restaurant’s parking lot.  “Employee attempted to make contact with a party who called in an order and was possibly in the other involved vehicle, but they denied being in the parking lot.” (8:18pm)
  • Caller reported 4 juveniles were jumping off of the dock and onto ice at Town Beach.  Police investigated and found 8-9 juveniles.  Police advised juveniles to stay off the ice and sent them on their way. (5:08pm)
  • Caller reported that 3 teenagers keyed his car in the parking lot of Chili’s.  Police could not locate teens. (3:42pm)
  • A Walnut Street resident reported a window in his home was shot by a BB gun while he was on vacation. (9:34am)
  • Resident reported a hypodermic needle was found in the front parking lot of CVS. (2:39pm)  A needle was found in the bathroom of the Dunkin Donuts on Concord Street.  (5:27pm)
