WILMINGTON, MA — We’re One Wilmington wants to give you an extra incentive to do some spring cleaning. “If you are de-cluttering and have anything to pass along, we are having our next ‘Anything Drive’ on Saturday, April 11th from 9am to 1pm at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue),” wrote W.O.W. President Jomarie O’Mahony in a message to members this week.
As noted in publicity from a previous Anything Drive, suggested donations include: gently used household items; children’s items; sports equipment; educational items; clothing (from baby to adult); electronics; food donations for the Wilmington Food Pantry; and Box Tops For Education for the schools. W.O.W. will distribute these items to Wilmington organizations and residents in need first, before sharing with other regional organizations that serve both Wilmington residents and non-residents.
Got a question about the drive? Know a family in need? Belong to a worthy organization and want to coordinate a drop-off? Contact W.O.W. by emailing drives@onewilmington.org.
