The WHS Girls Tennis Team opened their season on the road with a one-sided loss to Belmont. SINGLES: Sam Margagioglio [W] fell to Amanda Jung [B], 6-1, 6-1. Jess Nusbaum [W] fell to Rosy Rouskova [B], 6-1, 6-0. Rachel Cummings [W] fell to Hannah Read [B], 6-0, 6-0. DOUBLES: Bridget Cadogan & Christina Woods [W] were defeated by Haley Sawyer & Sarah Paolillo [B], 6-1, 6-1. Christina Wright & Katie McNeil [W] were defeated by Renuka Nannapaneni & Katie Muson [B], 6-1, 6-1. The team next plays on Monday, April 6 at 3:30pm at Woburn High School.
Today’s Schedule (Thursday, April 3):
The only game on today’s schedule — the WHS Softball Team traveling to Somerville for their season opener — was postponed due to field conditions. The game will be made up on Monday, March 20 at 3pm at Trum Field in Somerville.
