OBITUARY: Mary Alice “Mae” Gregoire, 68

DRACUT, MA — Mary Alice “Mae” Gregoire, 68, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Raymond R. Gregoire with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

She was born in Lowell on January 29, 1956, and was the daughter of the late William J. and Alice J. (Ryan) Pimley.

Mae was a graduate of Keith Hall and attended UMass Lowell. She was the owner of Harvest Gift Shop in Wilmington for 25 years and more recently worked in retail at JC Penney for 15 years.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her brother William Pimley and his wife, Marie of Ogunquit, ME; a niece, Allison Potter and her husband Jody of Rye, NH; nephew William Pimley of New York City; brothers-in-law Paul Gregoire and his wife Mary of Methuen; Robert Gregoire and his wife Joan of Mobile, AL; Richard Gregoire and his wife Rhonda of Loveland, OH and many nieces and nephews as well as many dear and close friends.

Visiting hours were held on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 4 -7 pm in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, TEWKSBURY. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and mailed to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
