- The 2024 Wilmington Fun on the Fourth continues on the Town Common and in the High School parking lot:
- 10am-4pm: Community Blood Drive with The Kraft Family Blood Mobile at Town Common — Register HERE.
- 5pm-10pm: Carnival by Cushing Amusements — buy credits online at cushingamusements.com
- 6pm-8pm: Dinner on the Common — $10 — Meatball sub, chips, soda/water & dessert — presented by the Wilmington Sons & Daughters of Italy
- 6pm-9pm: Performance by Acoustic Tandem — sponsored by Lowell Five Bank
- 6pm: Antique Car Show — sponsored by the Street Rod Club
- 6:30pm: Ladies Two Mile Walk — sign up in the 4th of July Headquarters
- The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities: Needleworkers (10am-noon) and Switch It Up! Video Game Club (3:45pm).
- The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Zumba (9am); Sewing (9:30am); Chair Yoga (12:30pm); Poker (1pm); and Cornhole (2pm). Learn more HERE.
- Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents, with proof of residency, may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up). Learn more HERE.
- TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
