STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: 4 Wilmington Students Honored With Albert Iamelli Sportsmanship Award & Scholarship

WILMINGTON, MA — Four outstanding students from Wilmington High School have been selected as recipients of the prestigious ‘Albert Iamelli Sportsmanship Award and Scholarship’, generously sponsored by Monteforte Law, P.C., headquartered in Woburn, MA.  As the owner of the firm, Michael Monteforte Jr. established this scholarship program in loving memory of his grandfather, Albert Iamelli, affectionately known as “Papa.” Albert was a notable presence in high school sports throughout New England, deeply engaged as a referee for football and umpire for baseball. His active involvement extended to leadership roles, where he showed great qualities by leading the New England Football Officials and Baseball Officials associations as their president.

Each year, the Albert Iamelli Sportsmanship Award and Scholarship recognizes exceptional student-athletes who embody the values of sportsmanship, leadership, and community service.

We’re excited to extend our congratulations to the students from Wilmington High School who have been selected as recipients of this year’s scholarships:

• Evan Woltag, who will be attending Merrimack College
• Michael Dynan, who will be attending Bryant University
• Austin Raymond Harper, who will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology
• Olivia Solari, who remains undecided on her college choice

These remarkable individuals have demonstrated exemplary leadership, academic excellence, and sportsmanship both on and off the field, inspiring their peers and positively impacting their communities.
