REMINDER: Wilmington Residents Can Recycle Electronics For Free; Items Must Be Dropped Off At DPW Administration Building

WILMINGTON, MA — Recycling your outdated/unwanted electronic equipment is a great way to keep recyclable materials out of our landfills and protect our environment.

Wilmington residents may drop off electronics for recycling — free of charge — at the DPW Administration Building (115 Andover Street), Monday through Friday, between 8am and 3pm.

You will need to show proof of residency to participate in this program.

Materials accepted for electronics recycling drop-off include:

  • Computer Towers/Bases
  • Servers
  • Cell Phones & Accessories
  • Desktop Printers (Laser/Inkjet)
  • Fax Machines
  • Keyboard and Mouse
  • Modems, Routers, Switches
  • Circuit Boards
  • External/Internal Disk Drivers
  • All Cabling
  • All Mac/Apple Equipment
  • Radios/Home Stereo Equipment
  • VCR/DVD and Other Media Players
  • MP3 Players
  • Cameras
  • Battery Backup Units

Computer monitors and televisions are NOT accepted at the drop-off location.

To schedule pick-up of a TV or computer monitor, residents must buy a sticker ($10 each) at the Treasurer/Collector’s Office at the Town Hall. You will be placed on a list for pick-up at curbside.
