WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Kiwanis Club is collecting gifts for veterans on Saturday, November 14, Saturday, November 21, and Saturday, November 28, noon to 2pm, at West Real Estate Office (386 Main Street).
The veterans in the Edith Nourse Rogers Hospital (Bedford VA) have needs that the people of Wilmington can help fill. The Kiwanis Club of Wilmington will be collecting donations of new items on the next three Saturdays. Kiwanis members will be there to accept donations. Donors won’t even need to get out of their vehicles.
The Kiwanis Club is seeking donations of winter clothing items (hats, gloves, mittens, wool socks, coats), along with white socks, white t-shirts, white underwear, sweatpants and sweatshirts. All clothing MUST BE new. No used clothing will be accepted.
